In my 24+ years of work I have climbed the ranks in both the military and corporate arenas. I have achieved great success utilizing my abilities to problem solve and implement solutions in swift and decisive ways.
In the US Navy I received numerous military commendations from high ranking US Naval Officers as well as two US Navy Achievement Medals awarded by the Secretary of the Navy.
In my corporate career I have continuously received positive recognition from all levels of management. My goal has always been to make things better. As a key team member I earned the position of Operations / IT Manager while taking a mortgage company from 14 locations in three states to over a hundred locations in 16 states over a relatively short period of time. In the insurance industry I started out as a sales representative, changed my career direction and was promoted to a position responsible for the development and delivery of critical software.
With an inquisitive nature, a success driven attitude, and a willingness to get down to work I have automated, simplified, improved or developed hundreds of systems, policies, procedures, and practices with the end result of improving the bottom line, customer satisfaction and the moral of those I worked with. I have worked with all spectrums of the corporate chain of command to improve performance and moral with a two-fold goal of achieving company profitability goals and continuously improving quality of life for the people that did the work.
